Just finished a LOT of work and ready for a seasonal fun. Rebuilt early MGB 1798cc engine (145-150 psi compression in every cylinder, 80 psi oil pressure when warm, no smoke, perfect running), twin SUs, original air cleaners, very straight body with beautiful bright red paint, mostly new chrome and trim, all new interior, new burled walnut dashboard, new wiring harness, new brakes, new chrome wire wheels, new........ The list continues....new tan top and tonneau, excellent floors, chassis, battery boxes........electric cooling fan, back up electric fuel pump, solid state ignition, carpeted trunk, wood wheel........ The best 'accessoried' MGA we have or have probably ever had. VIRTUALLY EVERYTHING has been done to this car. Even halogen headlights, wind wings, fender mirrors, reduction gear starter, battery shut off switch, external jump terminals (making jump starting a cinch). Even the heater: cleaned core, ckecked motor, painted housing, new switch, new cables, working perfectly. A wonderful MGA with everything possibly done to improve reliability and to make this a fabulous classic sports car with real performance. With the smooth MGB engine, this car takes on an entirely new character...flexible, far more power, and deals with the MGA's inherent flaw of being a bit underpowered. A logical step in its evolution....the first As were 1500cc, then 1600cc, and finally 1622cc. Now this car....1798cc. Otherwise, physically identical to the original engine even having the block mounted tach drive. AND open to even or part trade.............
