1956 Conn 10A Artist Model Professional Long-Cornet in excellent condition with artistic bell engraving, s/n 6221XX.  Comes with a replacement case and a gold-plated New York Bach 6B Cornet mouthpiece. The horn has only a few small dings on the Bell tail, most of original lacquer is still remaining in good condition. Slides and valves have smooth fast action with excellent compression.Very responsive, horn speaks easy at all volumes, with an open blow and beautiful tone.  Horn has a fixed 3rd slide finger ring, bottom spring valves and is medium weight 2 lbs.10 oz and 21 3/8" in Length.This horn has a very even scale and outstanding intonation.  I did not re-lacquer this horn because it played so well did not want to alter it in any way.  The horn will be carefully packaged to prevent any damage in shipment and shipped by the United Parcel Service Ground & fully insured and signature required at delivery. 5 & 1/8th inch copper Bell with .438-inch bore.Valve compression is outstanding with smooth movement.Very Nice Soloist instrument that projects extremely well.Horn has been cleaned and lubricated and ready for use.
