1954 Gibson GA-40 Les Paul Amp Jensen RCA rare As is. Selling a rare, 1954 Gibson ga40 “les paul” amp. Amp is in “as found” condition and has not been tested. It appears to be almost entirely original, down to most of the tubes. The handle is broken and fixed up with a cord. Original foot switch enclosure is present but is missing the actual switch. Condition wise Is decent. There is one side where the tolex is coming loose and will need reglued, and there is some paint on the top. Not sure if this ever had the “LP” letters in front of the grill cloth like other ga40’s from this year, but it doesn’t look like it ever did. Again, this amp is sold as is, for parts or repair, and has not been tested due to the age of the parts, though I suspect it will need at the minimum, new electrolytic caps, as well as a few tubes.
