This Flame Orange 1949 Plymouth fastback is the recipient of a
fully customized restoration. It is powered by a classic Chrysler
392ci HEMI engine sitting in a hand-painted firehouse pinup-themed
engine bay. The vehicle has an automatic transmission and airbag
suspension that provides adjustable ride height. Finished with
flames and gold flakes from the front fenders, the exterior is
equipped with Lucky Devil front turn-signal lenses with the rear
lights tucked into the back fenders. The door handles have been
shaved and the gas tank moved to keep the sleek body lines. The
interior was completed to complement the exterior with custom flame
sculpting of leather, leather floors, a leather-wrapped dash and a
specially built back seat. A multi-amplifier sound system with LED
surrounds is artistically displayed in the trunk, and a 17-inch
digital display is in the leather- wrapped trunk lid. This vehicle
was winner of a Goodguys Builder's Choice Award. Documentation for
over 500 hours of work and every inch of alteration is available.
