Hello everyone I'm selling my 1949 Chevy Deluxe Sedan w/ 216 straight 6 with 3 on the tree. Motor: 216 w/ 3 on the tree transmission, the motor is complete and does run. Just needs to be tuned. New spark plugs, wires, dish cap, points, condenser, alternator is used but work great, starter may need a rebuild but will turn car over. new valve cover gasket although has small leak. Rochester carb which I had rebuilt and new fuel pump. radiator is I believe the original but not positive . The car has been converted to 12 volt but the car will need to be re wired. Interior: The interior is all there dash and all pieces on the dash, both front and back seat are there and some rust on driver's side rear seat floor board. Exterior: The body is about 70-75% great condition, it has its rust issues but not to much I believe, for the most part the body is straight. I have about 95% of the chrome trim for the car, both bumpers are there but need work. I started sanding down the car cause I was gonna do most the body work but had to stop due to unforseen circumstances this was my dream car but will have to be someone else's because of this down economy its hard to get back up when your so far below. The Bad: I know everyone has been waiting for this but I'm selling so cheap because I don't have a title, I purchased in Stafford a few months back, the owner said it had been sitting for 20 years or so. but he was never able to find the title. So if you purchase its As Is. I'm working on getting motor put back so the purchasee can hear it turn over I'm selling for $2000 obo but am willing to negotiate, also will trade for small 4 cylinder like Honda civic for example.
