1948 Harley Davidson FL Panhead For sale is a gorgeous 1948 Harley Davidson FL Panhead recovered by Adolph Ogar, a popular collector in the antique motorcycle neighborhood. The bike is had by a good friend of ours and he asked me to list it for him. It has been carefully ridden 2,100 miles considering that the restoration was completed. Frame/Sheet Metal: The frame, springer front end, gas tanks, front fender, rear fender and oil tank are all initial, OEM parts and are completed in single-stage Imron black paint. Engine/Transmission: The engine and transmission were both brought back by Steve Schackman of Antique Motorcycle Supply in St. Louis, MO, with new parts throughout. The engine cases DO have matching belly numbers and the heads are proper, 1948 heads. The carburetor is a proper Linkert restored by Mike Millay. The engine starts and runs wonderfully.
