It begins quickly and runs great.Non original parts: handlebars and controls, rocker boxes (S&S), muffler (Olsen's), wiring, oil lines, and gas caps. Probably some other small items like nuts and bolts.Previous owner included a dual action front brake setup. All exhaust pipelines and Y pipeline are genuine Harley. The front pipe is factory dented for the side automobile tie rod. It has the initial later type 47 frame which shows no signs of previous repair works or welding.The original crankcases have untouched numbers and matching belly numbers. Cases have never been repaired or welded. The bottom end was reconstructed by a previous owner. Initial cylinders honed and fit with.050 pistons. The heads were skillfully rebuilt and the valve covers are sealed well. The intake nipples were changed and riveted as original. Manifold has PEEK seals. The M35 Linkert carbohydrate was rebuilt. The gas tanks are clean and have no sealer.Sheet metal and tanks are all initial. Previous owner had it repainted in 1980. The paint looks good however is disappoint quality and has flaws and a few touched up spots.Rebuilt the generator and added an electronic relay for much better charging. Clutch was restored using OEM components and a brand-new old stock release bearing. All brand-new chains and sprockets. Headlamp, tail lamp with right non- Guidex lens, spotlights, fender lamp and horn are all initial. Everything works. Saddlebags are initial to bike. Glo Brite jewels are genuine.The pal seat is in great shape and is correct for 1947. Initial speedometer was rebuilt.Overall this is a very good, mostly initial knucklehead with lots of terrific moment devices.
