This clock is a 1942 12 inch Brass Ships Bell, that is it strikes through the standard ship board watch area (4 hour watches), so it will certainly strike a total amount of 8 bells throughout the 4 hour watch, then repeat.

　　This clock is in outstanding condition, and the serial numbers on the case and system match. The identification numbers indicate making in 1942.
