1937 Packard 120 Touring Sedan. Originally delivered to Brooklyn, NY November 28th 1937. Stunning Concours quality comprehensive restoration from the ground up. Proven Award winner that took an AACA Senior first place in 1998 and a Historical Car Club Of Delaware 1st State Senior award in 1996. Meticulously cared for in private collections and remains in show quality condition today.
Refinished in the original color of Pheasant Red, fully sanded and buffed for a mirror finish. Laser straight panels and excellent Door, hood, and trunk panel fitment. All Chrome and brightwork were refinished to show quality. Elegantly optioned with desirable Dual Fender mount Spares with Packard mirrors atop. All glass and seals were replaced with new, doors open and close beautifully.
Powered by its original 282 cu in straight 8 backed by a 3 speed manual transmission. Runs and drives great with an extremely smooth and comfortable ride. Undercarriage is as nicely detailed as the exterior. Check out the Running board heaters!
Interior was restored to stock and has absolutely stunning wood grained dash and garnish mouldings. Tons of room in the rear seat, truly a luxury vehicle of the era. A modern stereo was added to the glove box with speakers mounted in the kick panels. All gauges were restored and are functioning with the exception of the fuel gauge which is acting up.
Stunning Packard for the astute collector, surely this is one of the finest examples extant.
