Made by H.N. White in Cleveland, Ohio, it is a King Master trumpet with a serial number of 26,099. It was made in about 1915. The second valve is stamped SMALL BORE. All of the slides and pistons move and are freshly lubricated. Unfortunately, the bell has a very significant fold that needs to be repaired. All of the tuning slides are stamped A, so this might be in the key of A trumpet, I'm not sure. As can be seen inside the case, one of the inner slides of the second master tuning slide is broken off and missing. It comes with an H.N. White # 11 mouthpiece and a mouthpiece that is stamped JCO. Also comes with a sheet music lyre and a cleaning rod. Comes with an old metal mute that is missing all three of its round corks. The case is quite worn but functional. The case hinges and handles work. However, the spring on one of the latches is nonfunctional. Who's up for a repair project on this classic, All-American trumpet? Questions? It will be well packed with plenty of new 1/2" bubble wrap and shipped in a new stout cardboard instrument box.
