This Civil War Era closet disassembles for ease in moving, developed to be moved in a covered wagon. It has a tag on leading dated 1865 but you cannot read it any longer (it's tough to check out). It is a lovely, versatile piece that can be used as storage while looking amazing in your living-room or master bedroom. I utilized it for seasonal candles and holders. There are 2 dove-tailed drawers underneath with exactly what seems the original round sculpted pulls. Strong wood in a light oak color. Would never ever sell it except kids are grown and we have downsized. This piece really belongs in a museum.
