I'm impressed with this horn. Warm open sound with a short throw, fast and smooth valve. Slide is excellent. Has a little bit of lacquer wear on the outer hand slide. The inner slide tubes are perfect. Reminds me of a good playing Elkhart 88H with a modern valve setup.

　　The 1000 series trombones are the same basic designs as the Custom 3000 and Edwards horns. At the factory, the tuning slides come out of the same box before being mated to the bell sections.
