Up for sale is an Antique Ironing Board made by the Davenport Ladder Company of Davenport, Iowa. The Ironing Board is older and has wood legs with metal slides on the underside. It is in nice condition. The asbestos top explained on the tag is missing out on.
It is 4' 11" long and 1' 3" broad. It stands 2' 7" tall.
There is a tag on the board that shows it was delivered to St. Louis by the Davenport Ladder Company of Davenport, Iowa. There likewise is a tag on the Board that states:.
"The Hemingway".

Patented April 13, 1913.
DUE TO THE FACT THAT-- It is riveted together-- not nailed.
SINCE-- It has steel beams-- not wood.
BECAUSE-- It stands strong. Does not swing.
SINCE-- It is the largest board made-- more ironing surface area.
BECAUSE-- It is simplest to close and open.
DUE TO THE FACT THAT-- It is the only one made that will accommodate a clothes basket beneath.
BECAUSE-- It has an asbestos top, which holds the heat in the cover.
