No mushroomed threads or spun bearing surfaces. No worn pattern step in pinion gear teeth either coast or drive side. I media blasted to remove some spots of surface rust from sitting out of oil in the housing. Comes with the original pinion depth shim for reference. Will fit 3.23 and numerically lower carriers, posi or open and uses 3/8" x 24NF ring gear bolts (1968-up Buick & Olds diffs used a 7/16" ring gear bolt carrier and will need 3/8" bolt sleeves to fit) No body reproduces this ratio so $100.00 is a bargain.
