I collect and clean most any older camera in my effort to eliminate these units from winding up in some landfill. So many of the old foldouts, 35mm and just older film cameras had so much of our forefathers technology built in that to me it seems a shame to just discard for the sake of new, howbeit I like the new but consider these worth keeping around for
our posterity. They are great conversation pieces, make beautiful mantle / library units and are quite interesting. Hopefully this ad will find the attention of those who do treasure our parents past and what they were able to accomplish with the tools, knowledge and technology of their day. I have a personal collection of seventy or so older cameras and am always interested to either buy or trade, keep that in mind please.
You are looking at a Vintage 1957 Polaroid Land Camera Model 80A.
The camera seems to be in the useable state, shutter works and bellows are still well-sealed from light.
Camera Information
Polaroid Model 80A (Highlander): Made 1957-59 and is the second in the Model 80 series of cameras. Very similar to the Model 80 except that the exposure is now set by Polaroid's standard EV (Exposure Value) scale system. Instead of using traditional f/ stop names (f/8, f/11, f/16, etc.) each f/ stop opening was assigned a number. Thus the shutter is marked using the EV system.
If you need more info please just email and I'll respond. I can also be reached by cell, . Prefer a call versus texting but if that's what you do, ok..........
