Festive greetings to neighbours, colleagues and local residents -
May this find you well and happy, in health and good spirits!
I've been having interesting times, with many ups and downs regarding my fortune, work, accommodation and health issues lately, but the mind is never better thanks to the wonderful support of Aukana's teaching and retreat centre, in Bradford on Avon, where I spend a lot of time volunteering and training each week, since 2012.
Please excuse my forwardness, however I thought I would just ask again as I find myself needing to move quickly, as my current landlord wishes to sell the house. My current homeshare landlord is 80 and worried about his mobility. He is arranging to move to a retirement village as soon as possible. I need to resettle now in order to arrange for much needed NHS health treatments, which cannot go ahead with imminent relocation of patients!
I am able to pay for my accommodation, and have been looking for longterm rental properties, but this is a very expensive area, and nothing suitable has come up. The top monthly contribution would be £650-700 per month at the moment.
I am a friendly yet private, mature, happily single female meditator, relatively tidy, respectful and quiet. I am interested in empty, partly - or fully furnished accommodation, and have experience restoring historic properties, and would be able to offer help in the future with ongoing DIY, gardening, cleaning, admin, etc. The space would need to be relatively quiet and large enough (I am tall and do yoga daily!) Ideally with access to a garden or near countryside.
I can provide references and a recent DBS check.
I attend a charity several times a week, working in Bradford on Avon, spending time training and supporting their activities in mental health development, so I need to be within easy cycling distance of Bradford. (About 3 miles)
Please message with ideas! I look forward to calmly discussing any options, openly and intelligently. Please feel free to contact me to share my details with friends, neighbours ,
with warm wishes for our wellbeing, and peaceful abidings in 2024,
Sara Leigh
