This chair has been sanded, repainted with Valspar furniture paint which is a custom mix called Burnt Orchard, top coated with Frenchic tuff top coat and re-upholstered with new seating wood, new foam layers and a heavy duty bird cotton fabric.

It has been lightly distressed to soften the colour and show the dark wood underneath so it would look fabulous in a child's room or as a statement dining room piece. It has taken a lot of time to upcycle due to the layers of drying before the next coat could be applied but it's been a really fun project to do and I love how it has turned out.
