Lovely guitar a pleasure to play this is not a resonator it's the big cousin made prior to the Berlin Wall coming down and the reunification of Germany this is a quality instrument I don't know much about wood but this is made from a combination of different woods please see

From the finest luthiers in France Circa 1950 lovely unusual guitar can't tell the difference between this and guitars at 10k this is an instrument going cheap as trying to buy a gibson plays sounds and feels great and aesthetically pleasing and ergonomically sound not sure
