I have for sale a 1970 TVR Vixen S2, I bought this car in 1996 and have committed a lot of time and effort to get it to where is is now, unfortunately it has sat for too long in its current state.
The car is a late 1970 S2, with many of the S3 traits which I have not seen before on another S2.
The car has been part restored and is a pretty much complete car as it stands and with all the parts I have:
Body removed and completely sanded down and re-gel coated
Bonnet has had a new frame and has been strengthened with extra fibreglass
Resprayed in a pearl blue, a classic colour with a modern twist
New hand made aluminium trims around the windows and wing vents
Chassis has been welded and powdercoated, with new brackets to strengthen the corner mounting points and out riggers
New braking components
Fuel tank has been pressure tested
Radiator has been pressure tested
Original engine has been rebuild to a standard level, however will need recommissioning again
Gearbox has had all new seals
Interior has been completely redone, although some carpet panels are missing
Dashboard, seats and door cards have been trimmed in leather and alcantara
Roof lining in alcantara
Rear lights have been stripped and cleaned and rechromed
New clear front lights
New badges
3000m rear window
Front windscreen and side windows all good.
3000m full arches and also vixen 3/4 arches
Wheels in good condition, but could do with a refurbishment
I have also a 711 crossflow bored out +90 thou with a stage 3 head. It has never been assembled together - available by separate negotiation.
This is an unique car that will be amazing when finished.
I know what it is worth as TVRs run in the family.
Any silly offers will not be responded to
