Machinist - Workshop Technician - Turner

Summary

To work as a skilled Turner within the workshop facility to manufacture and repair component parts for equipment such as pumps, compressors, steam turbines and gearboxes.

General Duties

Operate Conventional and XYZ Protrak Lathe (Any CNC expereince welcome) Liaise with Inspection and Engineering Loading / Unloading and movement or equipment and materials in the workshops General workshop duties Responsibilities

Carry out machining operations to work scopes, engineering drawings and appropriate specifications Expected to work to close tolerances Ensure high standards of workmanship at all times ensure machinery is kept clean and maintained Working hours 37.5 hours per week - time and half overtime

Mon to Thur - 7.45am to 4.15pm

Friday 7.45am to 2.15pm
