National Energy Action is seeking new Trustees to join our Board. Our trustees bring a range of skills and experience to the Board and share their expertise to oversee the development and implementation of our strategic and business plans, as well as the charity's finances and work programme direction. Trustees also empower the senior management team who take responsibility for the day-to-day running of the charity. Trustees normally spend one day per month carrying out their duties. We are particularly looking for those who possess sound HR, energy efficiency and retrofit skills, as well as those with professional and personal experience of the challenges caused by fuel poverty. As a high proportion of those who suffer from fuel poverty are from ethnic minority backgrounds, we are keen to receive applications from those who have experienced particular cultural, language and ethnic challenges.
