This is a fantastic opportunity to join a passionate team, to share your professional skills and life experience, and further strengthen an established and much-loved organisation. Being part of the Chatham Historic Dockyard Trust Board is a highly rewarding role; The Historic Dockyard is a unique place deeply rooted in a rich heritage.

In addition to the desired skillsets outlined above, candidates should also bring a passion for heritage and the work of the Chatham Historic Dockyard Trust, a capacity to think strategically and contribute to the Trust's direction, an understanding of the legal duties, responsibilities and liabilities of trusteeship.
Trustees are required to attend four Board meetings per year, and other sub-committee meetings usually held at The Historic Dockyard Chatham or remotely. Some additional time will be required to study papers, attend events and undertake other representational engagements. The posts are unpaid, but travel expenses can be claimed.
