1961 Triumph Thunderbird 6T Police Bike. With V5c. It has the Police petrol fuel tank to fit a radio (No radio supplied ) Police Saddle which has two small splits in it, and leg shields.

This Triumph Thunderbird Police Bike has had 2 previous owner which was the Metropolitan Police from June 1961 to September 1971 plus a civilian owner in Sept 1971 to present day. Has been laid up in a garage for years.

The model is a Thunderbird 6T 650cc Speedo reads 64066, The wheels are 18 inch with rust patches so if you are putting on new rims then you can change to 19 inch,

The engine has been replaced by the Metropolitan police in September 1966 with the current one 6TD 5030W which was made in late 1961.So although not matching numbers they are manufactured in the same year the frame number indicates that it was made in 1961.

I have the Buff log book and a tax disc for August 1972 and an MOT certificate Dated August 1971.

The bike was registered on the1st of January1984.

The bike Registration number 795 BYE has been valued at £1700.

I would like the number to stay with the bike.
