Housing Options Triage Officer
Salary from GBP24,201 to GBP26,373 pa depending on skills and experiencePermanent – full time 37 hours per week
Our Housing Options Team play a pivotal role by advising individuals and families who are in need of assistance with housing. This includes those who are either at risk of losing their homes or already homeless.
Primarily you will be assisting the team in providing an excellent front line service. This will involve providing the first point of contact for members of the public in housing need, including administrative and telephone and front line support, along with coordinate the work flow and allocation of new approaches to the Housing Options Team
In addition you will be providing members of the public with expert, professional, comprehensive advice and information on all aspects of housing, along with:
Ensure that records of all communications with customers are accurately recorded.Carrying out casework investigations either via letter, e mail of telephone on behalf of Housing Options Officers, recording all information obtained carefully and accuratelyMaintaining detailed records and use these to report statistics. In order to be competent in this role the successful post holder will have practical working knowledge of housing and homelessness legislation, and have the ability to converse at ease with customers adapting communication style to suit differing audiences.
