Our client, a logistics company who prides themselves on exceeding requirements within customer service is looking for a Transport Planner to work permanently for the business on a self-employed basis within a supportive yet busy team.

It be considered for this role you must have experience in handling wide loads/Hiabs and out of gauge loads.

Responsibilities will include

Providing a high level of customer service working within a busy transport officeQuoting client for delivery's / transportationOrganising and planning vehicles for bookings • Planning of drivers and vehicles to match the customers delivery time

• Route planning

• Dealing with drivers

Skills and knowledge required

Experienced with UK Road containers, HGV's and DriversExperienced in handling wide loads/Hiabs and out of gauge loads Experience in a Transport / Traffic office environmentKnowledge of transport & distribution planningGood geographical knowledgeCommunication skillsNatural problem solverCan-do positive attitudeGood geographical knowledge of the UK is also a must Working Hours

Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm

Day rate negotiable depending on experience
