Qualifications and Experience:

Minimum of 3 years in a varied transport management role.Transport Manager CPC.Proven ability to manage a dynamic team, including office staff and drivers.Track record of operational improvements.Proficient in Microsoft packages and IT.Ability to multitask and work in a fast–paced environment. Key Responsibilities:

Ensure the smooth running of the Transport function and related activities.Manage deliveries and collections, meeting weekly targets of 500–600 drops during busy periods.Oversee a team of 4 in the office and a full–time staff of customer–facing drivers.Maintain compliance with legal obligations and voluntary schemes, such as FORS.Develop and manage the FORS scheme, including policies and risk assessments. Key Tasks:

Continuous personal development to meet external obligations.Develop and manage drivers to ensure safety and professionalism.Ensure the roadworthiness of the delivery fleet and other company vehicles.Collaborate with other managers to meet business needs.Uphold company ISO 9001 procedures and quality standards. Full driving license and own vehicle.Office–based role at head office in a rural location Benefits:
