AWE is looking for a Training Compliance Manager to join our HR function.
This is an exciting opportunity within the Workforce Capability team, at a key turning point for the organisation, to shape the future of training, competence and the management of capability across the organisation.
You would work within a Centre of Excellence designed to improve the standards of training, competence and capability management across the organisation, using key data sets to establish compliance through risk based inspections.
Location - Reading / Basingstoke area
Package - 43,310 - 55,000 (depending on your suitability and level of experience)

What will you be required to do?
Work closely with all functions to ensure training, competencies and capabilities are maintained at the highest standardsCreate and monitor action plans to address shortfalls, holding managers to account to make the necessary improvementsBe able to seek efficiencies and new ways of working to streamline and support business processes to improve workforce resilienceLead a team of compliance and organisational change co-ordinators to ensure structural changes across the organisation do not impact safety through a degradation of key capabilitiesProvide resilience for other team members across other aspects of training, competence and capability requirements such as training validation, competence assessment and deputising for the Capability and Compliance Lead
Whilst not to be considered a check list, candidates should be able to demonstrate some of the following:
CIPD or equivalent HR Qualification - preferredExperience of working within a Learning and Development settingExcellent business engagement and professional mannerExperience of managing compliance consistently across a variety of unique functions across the businessThe ability to maintain high standards under pressure, balancing quality and agilityConsistently seeking efficiencies through a curious mind and a keen eye on data and the interpretation thereofDeveloping others to achieve a high performing team through leading by example

This job role is suitable for hybrid working, which is an informal, non-contractual and voluntary arrangement, blending a balance of attendance in the workplace (your permanent duty station) and working from home as a personal choice. If you are successful, any opportunities for hybrid working will be discussed with you prior to you taking up your post.
