Trainee Solicitor

We are seeking a Trainee Solicitor to join our clients growing team. The successful candidate will work with a close-knit legal team that services all areas of the business and works across a broad range of legal matters, including commercial contracts, licensing, real estate, and corporate.
The ideal candidate should be highly motivated and enthusiastic with a strong desire to learn the workings of an in-house legal role. The candidate should have the ability to work under tight deadlines and manage and move between changing business priorities. The successful Trainee Solicitor will have the confidence to express informed opinions to senior stakeholders and the tenacity to see jobs through to full completion and chase down outstanding items.
Trainee Solicitor Key Responsibilities:
Reviewing and updating standard form equipment rental terms and conditionsDrafting and negotiating NDAsReviewing and drafting standard form agreements (exclusivity agreements, licenses, leases and other commercial contracts)Reviewing supplier terms and conditionsPreparing and analysing redlines of documentsPreparing and arranging agreements for execution via DocusignOrganising and maintaining document management and legal filing systemsCarrying out due diligence on partner, customer and supplier companiesLiaising with and instructing external counselManaging formalities for preparing and distributing corporate documentation to external counselLiaising with the sales teams to provide initial instructions and advice on standard company term and conditions Trainee Solicitor Key Skills:
University graduate who has successfully completed the GDL and LPCHighly motivated and enthusiastic with a strong desire to learn the workings of in-house legal roleAbility to work under tight deadlines and manage and move between changing business prioritiesConfidence to express informed opinions to senior stakeholdersTenacity to see jobs through to full completion and chase down outstanding itemsHighly organised and with good attention to detailExcellent written and verbal communication skillsWillingness to carry out basic but important tasks with the same diligence as sophisticated / complex mattersGerman or Hungarian language skills would be advantageous
