Trainee Sales Administrator

Burgess Hill, 22,000 plus generous bonus, 37 hours per week, 22 days holiday, Pension, Life Insurance, Private Healthcare, Free parking onsite

The Role

Due to an internal promotion an opportunity has arisen for a Trainee Sales Administrator to join our clients Sales Department which proactively bids for large engineering contracts that are almost exclusively abroad. This Administration role provides administration support to the Sales and Process Engineering Departments.

Typical duties include:

Processing new sales leads and opportunities for the team including the preparation of tender documents.Managing Technical documentsMonitoring of correspondence between sales team and clientsScheduling of diaries, meetings and meeting roomsMonitoring and updating company databaseDaily monitoring of central sales email systemBooking of departmental travelGeneral administration

Requirements:

The successful candidate will be extremely organised with good attention to detail. You must be a good team player who is able to manage and prioritise a diverse workload. Good communication skills are essential along with the ability to work alone and on own initiative as well as part of the Sales Team.

An interest in engineering would be advantageous and an eagerness to develop product and industry knowledge is a must. It is essential that you have comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Office with strong Excel skills.

Company Information

Our client is a leading global engineering organisation established over 25 years ago and employing 60 staff in the UK and a further 60 plus across their international offices. Free parking onsite or 15/20-minute walk from Burgess Hill station. Modern, well-appointed offices with a friendly working environment. Finish at lunchtime on Friday.

Package

22 days holiday per annum, increasing after a full calendar years' service by one day per year up to 25 days.

The office is closed between Christmas and New Year and holiday must be reserved for this purpose

The company offer a generous pension scheme matching contributions up to 7%

Life Insurance

Death in Service at a rate of 4 times the salary

Private Healthcare (employee dependents can be covered at their own cost but as part of the group scheme)

Discretionary Bonus Scheme based on the previous year's profits.
