We have an exciting opportunity at our London Gatwick Airport site for a Trailer Technician to join our team.

The Role:
Repair trailers and dollies as requested by the Workshop Supervisor
Carry out inspections, airside and in the workshop and advise all defects to the Workshop Supervisor before commencing with any repairs or booking out any parts
Collect equipment for workshop servicing and repair
Job card/inspection sheet must be completed correctly to current point of repair and handed to the Workshop Supervisor at the end of each day s shift. All non-productive time is also to be added to the correct job card for authorisation by the Workshop Supervisor
Update the Workshop Supervisor of any further work or parts required immediately
Accurately complete and hand in manual daily time sheet after each day of shift

Good team player, willing to listen and take new ideas on board
Self-motivated with good organisational skills
Ability to quickly assess and resolve problems with a flexible and adaptable manner
Qualifications and Experience:
Experience of working in a customer focused environment
Experience in the vehicle maintenance sector
City and Guilds level 1 (desirable)
Welding (desirable)
Forklift (desirable)
You will need to:
Be able to demonstrate your Right To Work in the UK
Be able to obtain an airside pass which will require you to undergo a criminal record check and 5-year history verification
Hold a valid UK driving licence
Provide certifications for all qualifications
Working Hours:
Monday to Friday 0700h to 1500h
