Trade Sales Apprentice

A Hasting's based Electrical Wholesaler are looking for an enthusiastic person to join their fast-growing team as a Trade Sales Apprentice.

As a Trade Sales Apprentice, you will be working in all aspects of the business from stock control, customer service and sales. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone to start a career in the Electrical Wholesale sector.

We are looking for a highly motivated Trade Sales apprentice to join the busy branch. After full training, responsibilities will include:

Managing stock in and outPicking and Packing customer ordersLiaising with customers on the trade counterStore transfers & stock controlCompleting the sales paperwork in the officeRaising quotationsTaking paymentsSales calls to customers/suppliersProcessing orders on the computer systemAnswering customer enquires

Apprenticeship Training

As an apprentice you will complete a Trade Supplier Level 2 qualification with a national Training Provider. Your apprenticeship Training will focus on your job, is completed at the workplace, and you will be allocated a tutor and a study session in your working week.

Components of the Trade Supplier Level 2 Apprenticeship

Competence/Knowledge based qualification

Functional Skills - Maths/ English (if required)

End Point Assessment - Final Knowledge Test, Observation and Discussion

Once you have successfully completed your apprenticeship, and all being well, there will be a full-time role with the company. From there you could progress to other job roles such as external sales, team leader, assistant manager and even Branch Manager.

Salary: 12,688.00- 24,960.00 per year dependent on age

Mon - Fri 8am -5pm with the potential of the occasional Saturday morning paid at overtime.

Driving licence desirable but not essential.
