The client, a long established and growing engineering distributorship are seeking a Trade Counter Assistant to work from their Offices/Depot in Avonmouth.

You will join a friendly team in this organisation which is also part of larger group of companies.

You will ideally have good administration/customer service skills and MAY have an interest in e-commerce/online sales/ marketing/social media as you could use or learn these new skills to assist with promoting company products.

The company have a brand new facility and the role will be working in the 'Open to the Trade' Shop, dealing with direct in-person enquiries, but also managing the online shop, updating the range of products/prices and dealing with online enquiries.

Day to day activities will be broadly as follows:-

Dealing with customers face to face who visit the trade shop.Dealing with administration surrounding product hire and sales.Keeping the online shop up to date with products and offers.Updating Web Pages and the E-Shopping Site Depending on company needs and your prior skills/experience you may also get involved in:-

Creating Emails and Marketing LiteratureSales reach out and follow upsUpdating Social Media sites with regular content and engaging with visitors - Linked-In
