Are you a talented and experienced Town Planner seeking a new and exciting opportunity? Our client, a renowned multidisciplinary consultancy, is looking to expand its dynamic team with a skilled Town Planner based in Belfast. This is a fantastic chance to work on high-profile projects in both Belfast and Dublin, contributing to the sustainable development of urban spaces.

Key Responsibilities

Project Management: Lead and manage planning projects from inception to completion, ensuring compliance with local regulations and client expectations.

Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to deliver integrated solutions that meet the needs of diverse communities.

Research and Analysis: Conduct thorough research and analysis of planning policies and regulations, providing valuable insights to inform decision-making.

Client Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their objectives and delivering innovative planning solutions.

Office and Site Work: Spend one day a week in the Belfast office, collaborating with the team, and the remainder of the week working on exciting Dublin planning projects.

Qualifications and Skills

Degree in Town Planning or related field.

Membership of the Royal Town Planning Institute (RTPI) is desirable.

Proven experience in town planning, preferably within a consultancy environment.

Strong knowledge of planning regulations and policies in both Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland.

Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Proficiency in relevant planning software.
