Purpose of Role:

The Technical Design Assistant is responsible for helping to provide technical support to our client s customers, as well as its own internal departments in relation to the production, manufacture and installation of PVCu windows, doors and related products.

Main duties and responsibilities:

To provide technical support to customers internal departments which includes: • Product related technical questions.

Thermal performance calculations.Structural performance calculations.To produce and maintain technical documentation.Complying with all company and legal policies and procedures. Essential Skills:

Experience in technical support within the construction or manufacturing sectors.Experience of CAD (2D or 3D).Excellent customer service ethos.Excellent team working skills with the ability work with minimal supervision.Attention to detail.Written and verbal communication skills.Proficient in Microsoft applications e.g Word, Excel and PowerPoint.Maths and English Grade C & above. Desirable Skills:

Experience in product design within the construction or manufacturing sectors.HND or equivalent in Product Design/Engineering/Building Studies Benefits:
