Location: Acorn Park Adult Services, Norwich
Salary: GBP21,000 per annum
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, 8.30am - 4.30pm

About the role:
Acorn Park Adult Services are looking for an individual who is excited to work during times of transformative change! Are you interested in and experienced in the field of working with the challenges associated with neurodiversity (Autism, ADHD), complex and developmental trauma and complex needs? Do you want to create a nationally important resource with the substantial backing of one of the leading providers of education and care for young people with SEN? If so, we have the role for you!
We're looking for an enthusiastic and committed individual to join our team as a member of a multi-disciplinary team including Speech and Language Therapy/Occupational Therapy. You will be supporting the delivery of high-quality clinical provision within the adult services.
Based at Acorn Park Adult Services the needs of our adults vary in levels of functioning, many with a diagnosis of autism as well as associated needs such as complex and developmental trauma. We are looking for someone who is passionate about making a difference to the adults we support. Someone who is able to work independently as agreed under supervision, is a good communicator, and is able to work flexibly.
Our clinical teams help to develop empowering environments where our adults can flourish. Always putting our them at the forefront of everything they do. All our settings maintain a strong safeguarding culture, and the adults we support are heard, respected and involved in decisions that affect them wherever possible.

Essential Criteria:
Minimum of 5 GCSE passes including English at Grade C and aboveEvidence of relevant post 16 educationWillingness to work towards further qualifications as requiredExperience of group and/or individual therapy contactExperience of paid or voluntary work in a child special needs setting and/or work with young people or adults with complex needs / behaviours that may challenge or mental health needs.Effective communication skillsAbility to be flexible and cope with multiple demandsKnowledge of IT systems What's in it for you?
