Providing a safe, cost–effective, and efficient care environment for patients, relatives, and carers.Functioning clinically within the Operating Department and other associated areas as required.Participating in the training of junior staff and continuing your own personal and professional development by rotating within the perioperative department.Carrying out a full range of registered health care professional duties, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of the patient's condition and care with support from the Practitioner in charge.Maintaining the privacy and dignity of all patients while adhering to Trust and department policies, reporting any difficulties with these duties to senior staff.Maintaining accurate, contemporaneous, and legible written records of care where required and accurately completing the perioperative care plan (ORSOS) and be a signatory for the Operating Register.Using effective communication, written and verbal, with all levels of staff including the multidisciplinary team, patients and relatives, taking into account impairments, levels of consciousness, and language barriers. This is a full time role at 37.5 hours a week across flexible shift patterns. Salary is up to GBP38,000 + Benefits (depending on level of experience, training and qualification
What You'll Need to Succeed
Registered Practitioner with NMC or HCPC registration12–months experience in a theatre setting is desirable Minimum 6 months experience of general scrub What you'll get in Return
