Assembling, checking, and preparing the appropriate anaesthetic equipment, emergency drugs, and consumables for a wide range of operative procedures incorporating various types of anaesthesia.Conducting mandatory patient safety checks in conjunction with the team and according to policy, including a 'pause' prior to administration of regional anaesthesia.Assisting the Anaesthetist throughout the perioperative phase of care.Assisting the Anaesthetist in monitoring the patient's condition throughout the procedure, taking appropriate action to manage any complications arising through contingency planning.Working as part of the operating team to provide safe quality care to the patient throughout the procedure.Monitor the patient's condition throughout the phase of care, taking appropriate action to manage any arising complications through contingency planningProactively monitor the patient's level of discomfort/pain and take appropriate action to ensure the patient is comfortable This is a full–time role for 37.5 hours a week. The role holder will be required to cover a flexible shift pattern, Monday – Friday 8 AM to 8 PM and occasional Saturday's with additional on–calls. Salary up to GBP32,000 (depending on level of experience, training and qualification)What you'll need to succeed

Registered Practitioner with NMC or HCPC registration12–months experience in a theatre setting is desirableThis role includes both main theatre, day surgery and the endoscopy environment.Proficient in the use of a PC and associated softwareFlexible and adaptableCaring and professional nature What you'll get in return
