We are looking to develop a more proactive sales / customer services culture, whilst maintaining a seamless customer experience. Your role, as our Telesales Manager will be split between leading, managing, and mentoring, coupled with some personal account management (processing orders and making offers to both active customers and prospects or lapsed customers). Customer service is also a part of your role. You will set the pace, lead by example, and strive on meeting your team's sales target.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Telesales Manager, Customer Services Team Leader, Customer Service Manager, Internal Sales Team Leader, Technical Internal Sales Manager - material handling solution manufacturer
Leading the internal sales team, chairing sales meetings, and offering support / suggestions to improve both results and efficiencies.
Delivering a 'hunting / closing' type culture, while supporting others to work the same.
Tracking and monitoring against agreed KPIs (once a KPI is implemented, you will measure response rates, conversion rates, tasks, and ensure consistent delivery).
Understanding customers' needs and preparing offers for parts and service, on our SAP computer system.
Preparing offers in a consultative manner, handling objections, and closing profitable orders.
Understanding our products (continuous learning process), their applications, and general features (appropriate training is provided).
Liaising with both the direct customers as well as factories located Internationally.
Supporting the external business developers.
Providing feedback and regular updates to customers.
PERSON SPECIFICATION: Telesales Manager, Customer Services Team Leader, Customer Service Manager, Internal Sales Team Leader, Technical Internal Sales Manager - material handling solution manufacturer
Ideally, you will have an internal Sales or Customer Service Team Leadership background within any product or service solution. A technical aptitude is important (full training is provided). Any SAP user knowledge is beneficial (again, training will be provided).
Other traits to include:
Tangible sales team leadership experience, with proven evidence of success.
Sales personality, enjoy building relationship with regular customers.
Target-oriented.
Technically minded.
Strong in process and administration.
Computer literate & proficient on Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, and EMail).
