The role needs to drive the creation and management of technical content. This includes website authoring, development of technical and marketing documentation and collateral, photography and videography.
Centralised role taking a lead on content creation that can be used by the marketing and sales teams to support lead generation and sales executionWebsite authoring and optimisation (including SEO/SEM)Technical documentation creation and management (Adobe, InDesign & Flare)Creative content creation (creative suite, photography, videography, animation)Ensuring clear and consistent branding across documentation, following brand guidelinesWilling to get involved with a broad spectrum of marketing activities The successful Technical Writer/Content Creator will have/be:
Tech Savvy / quick learner of software packages / adept at Photoshop/In–DesignCMS experience with Basic HTML/CSS experienceWorking understanding of HTML and CSS codingUnderstanding of technical documentation, its creation and its distribution via digital platformsStrong creative copy editing and writing skills, with an excellent grasp of English language and eye for grammarAn understanding of MadCap Flare or other content management application would be an advantageStrong MS Office skills including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, as well as knowledge and experience using Adobe Creative Suite products: Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Premiere Pro and After Effects Howett Thorpe are acting as a recruitment agency in relation to this role and comply with all relevant UK legislation and do not discriminate on any protected characteristics.
