This international multi-disciplinary consulting engineering with almost a century s experience in the built environment are seeking to add to their highly successful Manchester offering.

Their expertise and capabilities cover a wide range of engineering sectors from Buildings to Highways and Transportation, Water and the Environment.

The focus for this role will involve a strong background in Warehouse and Logistics or the Industrial Sector and will be based in their Manchester office, working together with their established civil and rail teams and supported by the other structural teams. You will lead and develop the structural team capability in the region and be responsible for shaping and growing their offering in the region and expand the client base and skills in the North and across the country.

Currently their buildings team specialise in creating innovative and sustainable buildings, operating in the residential, commercial office, hotel and leisure, science and education, warehouses and logistics and transport oriented development sectors.

As part of this role, you will be expected to develop new client, stakeholder, and partner relationships to exploit market and business opportunities to support growth, delivery and business sustainability whilst also managing macro risks. A number of existing clients have opportunities in the North and you will be expected to develop these relationships seeking to secure these opportunities.

You will be responsible for the delivery of projects, achieving profitable and sustainable growth, managing risk and opportunity enroute, whilst achieving client satisfaction with the services provided and outcomes delivered. You will ensure checks and approvals are carried out for the work of others as appropriate to ensure governance and oversight to assure safe, efficient and effective delivery of services.
