Here at Staythorpe Power Station we have been generating electricity for over 50 years. Main Purpose of the Role
As a member of the Staythorpe Business Support Team, you will be responsible for providing support to the Operations and Maintenance functions and liaising with company Portfolio teams across the UK and Central Europe as required. Your primary responsibility is to ensure that local drawings, documentation and information is reviewed, updated and stored in an appropriate system.
Key Responsibilities
Ensure the Power Station is a safe place to work and actively contribute to its safe, efficient and cost-effective running Provide first class end-to-end processes, administration, support to the business on-time, to specified requirements and in line with expected standards Work to a level of productivity in line with business requirements, whilst maintaining and taking pride in your quality of work Take a proactive approach to improving business support activities, and supporting station maintenance and operations, as well as portfolio teams, as required Manage conflicting or multiple priorities and successfully deliver tasks and projects with minimal supervision Understand and adhere to station and company processes Operate and act responsibly, ensuring your work complies with the code of conduct, company directives and policies, for example procurement, IT security, compliance and storage of data Knowledge & Skills

- Strong numeracy, literacy and verbal reasoning skills
- Ability to communicate effectively and professionally, in writing and orally, with a wide range of stakeholders which are both internal and external to the business.

- A high degree of self-reliance, self-motivation and self-confidence
- Familiarity with power station/industrial operations is desirable but not essential
- The ability to make decisions in a pressurised environment
