Technical & Compliance Officer

Responsible for overall maintenance and implementation of technical compliance policies and quality management systems within this fast-paced food producer and distributor located near Harlow, Essex.

Key Responsibilities:

To ensure all relevant documentation pertaining to Company Accreditation and compliance to Customer Standards is maintained and kept audit ready.

To Update & Maintain the Quality Management System on a daily basis for site and growing

Ensure QMS and all relevant documentation is kept up to date and audit ready Manage and conduct internal and external audits as per agreed schedule with Head of Technical Collate and check all due diligence for the growers and update & maintain Grower Due Diligence Tracker throughout the season Work closely with Packhouse, Growing, Packaging & Commercial team to ensure full compliance to company and customer standards. Work closely with head of Technical on various ongoing and future projects Training and mentoring: carry out training of others as required in any aspect of their role or as requested.

Communication: play an active role in formal and informal 2 way written and verbal communication systems and processes
