As the successful Technical Buyer you will be responsible for sourcing, identifying and engaging external suppliers, developing a reliable supply chain, and negotiating and closing deals with vendors.

Main Duties / Responsibilities

You will be responsible for sourcing, identifying and engaging external suppliers, developing a reliable supply chain, and negotiating and closing deals with vendors. You will also be responsible for providing technical support in areas such as manufacturing quality, delivery time, logistic information, and supplier scorecards.

To be successful in this role of Technical Buyer we would love to speak to anyone who has experience of:

Strong experience in technical procurement or related fieldFamiliarity with electronic component manufacturing industry, particularly passive and active componentsExcellent negotiation skills and ability to close deals with suppliers, along with strong interpersonal and communication abilitiesDemonstrated ability to work independently with minimal guidance or supervision, while remaining a team player, as well as a self-motivated individual who is goal-oriented and results-drivenExperience with sourcing from suppliers and conducting supplier audits in Asia, Europe, or the AmericasBachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Business Administration or Supply Chain Management preferredFluency in English both written and spoken is essential, as well as proficiency in Microsoft Office and SAP-ERP systems.
