Role purpose
As Technical Author you'll be a vital member of the Technical Publications Team in creating technical publications for the installation, maintenance, repair and alteration of the manufactured equipment.

As Technical Author you'll:
Create, deliver and maintain high–quality technical publications including CMM's, SIL's, SB's and Maintenance Training ManualsIdentify methods or publishing tools that are required to achieve industry standardsReport to, and support, the Technical Publications Manager in delivering operational excellenceEnsure engineering adherence to company processes As Technical Author you'll have:
Experience in compiling technical publications within a manufacturing/engineering environmentExperience using Adobe FrameMaker (or a similar authoring software)Experience using 2D illustration software (ISoDraw) is preferableExperience of Simplified Technical English (AD–STE 100)Strong organisation skills including timing and resource planningThe natural ability to work in a pressurised environment working to tight deadlines Interested?
