This is a fixed term appointment until the end of the academic year ending August 2024, in the first instance.
The role will be within the Tooting Primary School's ASD Resource Base, The Discovery Zone. The Discovery Zone is comprised of two classes and is the educational provision for 20 pupils, each with a diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC). The post holder will work within our Key Stage 2 ASD Base provision, which is made up of 10 pupils (Year 3-6) and four classroom adults. The children within the base, each have an Education Health and Care Plan (EHCP) maintained by Wandsworth Local Authority. Pupils access a broad and balanced curriculum, Occupational Therapy (OT) and Speech and Language Therapy (SaLT) in line with their EHCP Provision.
The successful candidate, will benefit from a robust CPD package to support them in contributing to provision and support for pupils.
