Key Responsibilities:
Contribute to the teaching of Science Departments.Participate in the development of appropriate schemes of work, including syllabi, materials, and teaching strategies, in alignment with the National Curriculum, Department Schemes of work, and the school's aims and objectives. Job Purpose:
As a class teacher, promote the overall progress and well–being of assigned individual pupils, classes, or groups, primarily through teaching Science.Establish regular daily contact with pupils, exercising attentive care for each individual. Foster positive attitudes towards school, develop an understanding of rights and responsibilities within the school and society, and help students recognize their potential contribution to the entire school community. Principal Responsibilities:
As a class teacher:
Contribute to the teaching of Science, employing approaches that encourage learning within the school's and department's aims, policies, and curriculum area.Develop and prepare schemes of work for assigned pupils, following the department's policies and programs of study.Teach assigned pupils based on their educational needs, including setting and assessing their work.Assess, record, and report on the development, progress, and attainment of assigned pupils.Communicate and consult with parents, following the school's communication arrangements.Maintain awareness of baseline data for each pupil, track their progression in line with National expectations.Review teaching methods and schemes of work periodically, staying updated with subject and professional developments. Engage in appropriate arrangements for further training and professional development. Qualifications Required: QTS or equivalent (ECT welcome)

Salary: GBP153.85 – GBP222.22 per day
