Reed Practice are partnering with a Top 20 firm, who have won awards for "Best Firm to Work For ", to recruit a senior Tax Accountant for their main office in Colchester.

This new Senior role in the tax team will give you a variety of tasks covering both private and corporate work and is the perfect opportunity for a talented and ambitious Tax Accountant looking to develop on a personal and professional basis.

You will be involved in both advisory and compliance tasks, with a bias to advisory issues, covering areas such as Capital Gains, Inheritance, Shareholder, and business re–structuring.

Your post will involve:• Providing pioneering tax planning and reviewing complex income tax returns• Developing relationships with clients, providing high quality planning and advisory services drawing on your expertise.• Identifying new opportunities for the firm• Contributing to tax advisory projects.• Involvement in the selection process for new team members.

As this is a crucial role in the business, we seek those with an appropriate tax qualification (ATT qualification (minimum requirement) or close to qualifying, and experience of both personal tax and corporate tax within an accountancy practice.
