bigspark is a UK-based consultancy delivering next-level data platforms and solutions focusing on exciting technologies, including Apache Spark and Apache Kafka and working on projects within Machine Learning, Data Engineering, Streaming, and Data Science.

About the Role
Reporting to the Head of People, the role holder will lead the end-to-end recruitment cycle for assigned functional areas of the business. The role will form part of our Talent Acquisition team.
It will be pivotal in developing our employment brand and talent pipeline and taking responsibility for continuing to enhance our direct recruitment model into a business-aligned, value-adding function.
Beyond recruitment delivery, the role-holder will add value by executing the recruitment strategies across the business.
Key Responsibilities:
Responsible for meeting recruitment delivery targets and managing senior stakeholders throughout assignmentsMarket mapping, talent pooling and the creation of a 1000-person vertically aligned pipeline of experienced UK-based talent to support continuous recruitmentLead the end-to-end recruitment process (i.e. requisition creation, job posting, sourcing, screening, compliance, and offers)Direct sourcing and headhunting of best-in-class talent adhering to bigspark standardsSource candidates through multiple channels; heavy focus on LinkedIn and referralsUndertaking direct sourcing strategies to ensure consistent results and high-quality hiresConduct external research and build communication strategies /campaigns to attract candidate prospectsParticipate in Resource Planning discussions with hiring managers of assigned functional areas to establish recruitment needs, business direction and commercial business impactProvide support to the wider recruitment function on projects/initiatives aligned with the recruitment frameworkOffer Valued Partner solutions to the business that differ from typical transactional recruitment methodsGuide the business on recruitment market conditions, competitor hiring and compensation informationOffer guidance and support to provide manager enablement throughout the recruitment processProvide direction and support to Graduate Programmes to ensure our offering remains current and market-leading Required Experience:
Strong education (ideally Bachelor's degree level) with demonstrable ability to quickly take on new information and apply themselves to new tasks5+ years of Recruitment experience either from a Recruitment Partner (in-house model) or Agency backgroundMarket knowledge within Technology & Financial ServicesExperience building upon and improving existing recruitment processes and supporting value initiatives (e.g. D&I, recruitment training, etc.) Benefits:
