BRUSH is committed to integrating environmental sustainability, social responsibility, and effective corporate governance into all aspects of its business. Based on our Sustainability Policy Statement (initially published in November 2021), we are committed to being transparent and remaining focused on expanding our sustainability efforts.
In 2022 (with a relaunch in 2023), BRUSH launched its ESG framework which focused on the following areas:
Our governance. Leading and communicating responsible corporate activities.
Our suppliers & partners. Driving ethical business behavior and sustainability.
Our community. Actively participating and supporting local communities.
Our employees. Being a socially responsible employer and fostering diversity and inclusion.
Our customers. Delivering sustainable solutions, supported for life. Enhancing the sustainability agenda.
Our planet. Reducing our impact on climate change and conserving natural resources.
Our investors. Driving sustainable, profitable growth and generating stakeholder value.
Throughout 2023, BRUSH continued to focus on these areas and develop an action plan. In addition, we decide to join the Science-Based Targets Initiative (SBTi) to further accelerate our Net-Zero strategy. However, to continue the progress of our ESG and corporate sustainability commitment, it will be necessary to further define, manage, and deliver activities for each of the focus areas.
Furthermore, we must enhance our understanding of our customer s ESG ambitions and commitments and reflect these into our ESG framework. It may also be necessary to consider these in our solutions, products, and services innovation process.
