Our client is an innovative manufacturing business which is driving towards a net-zero strategy. Due to this goal, our client is now looking to recruit a Sustainability Manager to spearhead their net zero project.

As a Sustainability Manager, you will work closely with the management team and stakeholders to drive R&D efforts to reduce the companies overall carbon foot print.

Key responsibilities:

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement sustainable practices across the organisation. Develop and execute a comprehensive net-zero strategy, including measurable goals and milestones. Support the development and implementation of the business's environmental strategy. Establish a system for tracking and reporting carbon emissions at a product level for customer transparency. Drive R&D initiatives to innovate manufacturing processes and materials to reduce carbon emissions. Conduct environmental audits and assessments to identify improvement opportunities. Ensure strict compliance with environmental legislation. Assist in coordinating pollution control, waste management, recycling, environmental health, conservation, and renewable energy initiatives. Foster a culture of sustainability within the company.

For this role, our client is looking for someone with previous experience in environmental management who has demonstrable experience in implementing and improving processes.
